An experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist is needed for a 6-week contract assignment in Concord, NC, supporting a busy medical center with advanced imaging technology. This role requires a skilled IR Tech confident in performing a variety of radiologic procedures in a high-acuity environment where teamwork and excellent communication are vital. Key Responsibilities: Perform interventional radiology procedures using state-of-the-art Siemens and Canon bi-plane imaging equipment. Manage imaging examinations for adult and pediatric patients from diverse units including ED, ICUs, and outpatient settings. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care across a fast-paced, high patient volume area. Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR system. Participate in rotating on-call schedule along with holiday coverage, supporting department needs as outlined in the contract. Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards to ensure quality imaging services. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology required. ARRT-R certification and current BLS certification mandatory. Strong clinical skills in IR procedures and patient care, with an ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication skills and a cooperative attitude within a diverse team setting. First-time travelers welcome, with department orientation provided. Shift & Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekend rotations; travelers remain on day shifts during contract. Call schedule is distributed fairly among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler staff. Holiday coverage expected unless pre-approved.
